So I had a dream last night that I was in the movie Battleship (based solely on the previews for it). I was a scientist and one of the aliens fell in love with me and was obsessed with trying to get me to “become one” with him. Oh, and my dads were the Fifth Doctor and Turlough. Even better, the entire thing took place in a cove called “Bikini Bottom.”
… I think the best part of it was that Five as my dad.

I really believe that Thanos controlled him, because in the end, when he asked for a drink, he was normal again! Just like in Thor! Hulk smashed out “Thanos controller”
Yay I’m not the only one who thinks this!! That one scene where he’s meditating seemed to me like he was being controlled somehow. I half expected it to be revealed. Maybe in Thor II?

I’m done with finals, I cashed a graduation check, now to kneel bitches sit back and watch me some Tom Hiddleston Loki Avengers.
I managed to hoodwink my brother into coming with me. Someone has to be there to smack me upside the head when I start fangirling ;)
Due to a final that is most likely going to kick my ass, I can’t see the Avengers until Saturday
So I’m gonna pop off of Tumblr until I see it, to save myself from all the spoilerish goodness.
Awkward Moments…
When someone on your Plurk Flist rages because the actor playing Khan is British and not Indian/Hispanic.
While it has been a while since I’ve seen Space Seed, I know that the Eugenics Wars happened before the timeline split. So somehow Khan is up and about when he really should be in his sleeping pod on his ship.
Now the question is why is Khan running around and how did he get of his ship? My immediate thought was that Spock Prime prolly had something to do with it. Or maybe Nero found himself with too much time on his hands and went looking for the Botany Bay and woke Khan up in case his plan to kill Spock didn’t go through. Or it’s an addition to the original story, where Khan was woken up accidentally before subdued and put back to sleep. IDK man
I just want to see what they do with this. I don’t care about the ethnicity of the actor, it’s a silly thing to get mad about imho. Benedict Cumberbatch is amazingly talented and if his account on how he got the part is any clue, this is gonna be one hell of a performance.
